Who operates ParkGlance

Location

ParkGlance uses optional foreground location on the device when you request nearby ordering or an eligible driving-time estimate. It does not request background location. ParkGlance does not send raw device location or route geometry to its own backend, retain a location history or place raw location in the shared app snapshot. If permission is unavailable, you can choose a facility manually.

Service requests and infrastructure

The app requests public facility catalogue and status information. A request identifies the facility being viewed; it does not include your name, email address, advertising identifier, ParkGlance account or raw device location. ParkGlance requires no account.

Cloudflare may transiently process network or device metadata, such as an IP address, to deliver requests, prevent abuse and apply rate limits. ParkGlance application logs do not retain raw IP addresses, query strings, coordinates, request headers or user profiles. Infrastructure providers may process operational network data under their own policies.

Information stored on your device

ParkGlance may store your default and favourite facility, route or journey preferences, navigation-app preference, usual departure time, and cached facility/status information on your device. Approved extensions may read a versioned shared snapshot containing facility and decision-presentation data, but not raw location or route geometry. System language, date, time, number and distance formats follow device settings.

Uninstalling or clearing the app removes ordinary app-container data, subject to operating system backup behaviour. Shared app-group data may remain while another installed ParkGlance extension retains the shared container. ParkGlance has no server-side user profile to delete.

Mapping and navigation providers

When you request travel-time information or choose Navigate, Apple or Google mapping services and your selected navigation app may process a facility destination or route under their own privacy policies. ParkGlance opens a provider only after your action and does not receive the provider's navigation history.

Forecasts and public facility data

The ParkGlance service stores public facility metadata, assessed source observations, quality/model records, compact transit mappings and operational ingestion state. It does not use phone requests to build a user profile. Forecasts and Plan B decisions are ParkGlance calculations and may be hidden when evidence is insufficient.

Support correspondence

If you voluntarily email support, you provide your sender address, message, attachments and mail metadata to Cloudflare Email Routing and the publisher's mailbox provider. This information is used only to answer your request, protect the service or meet legal obligations. It is not sold or used for advertising.

Support correspondence is ordinarily deleted within 12 months after resolution unless a longer period is legally or operationally necessary. You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing the same support address. Infrastructure and mailbox providers may process information outside Australia under their own safeguards.

Changes and contact

Material changes to this policy will receive a new effective date. Contact parkglance@go-regional.com if you have a privacy question or request.
